Throwback Thursday: Bogota, Colombia

High in the Andes, Bogota lies at 8661 feet above sea level. This massive capital city has a lot to offer in terms of art, culture and shopping. Drink the chicha, ride the Funicular Monserrate, buy some emeralds, go to the Botero Museum and enjoy the nightlife. We stayed in the La Concordia neighborhood which is vibrant and hopping. And yes, the streets really are that steep!
